I made these Mississippi Mud bars when we had the missionaries over for dinner. I knew how my family loves brownies so I figured I would need two pans. So I made Smores brownies as well. Needless to say the Mississippi Mud bars were so yummy they went first and the Smores brownies didn't get eaten till later in the week. We all loved that the Mississippi Mud bars have a crust bottom and marshmallows in the batter! Yum. We all enjoyed them and everyone keeps asking for them again. They were so easy to make. You just add water, butter and an egg like with most mixes. Betty Crocker has two other Supreme Bar mixes to offer as well. They are Lemon and Cookie Brownie. Sounds delightful! Who says you need an occasion to eat brownies? :) I would probably take the Mississippi Mud ones to a family gathering and hope my brothers don't eat them all before I get to them.
Tyson would say dinner is the perfect occasion for a dessert like Brownies. Never tried Mississippi Mud and they sound like a fun dish for a BBQ so the mess is outside and kids feel free to lick their fingers...that is kids of all ages.
What do i say about chocolate? Love it and we all love brownies! They sound yummy!
