Catching up

Well here I am again finally catching up. We have had a busy summer so far. Kate finished her softball season. They did really well this year. The day after her last game she went to girls camp. She loved it and I had no worries about sending her as Aunt Michelle was her cabin mom. So Kate was spoiled the whole week! Here the stake does camp and cabin mom's are women not called in the Young Women program. I did get to go the last night for the big spiritual feast. It was fun. The next Monday Bart left for youth conference which was a pioneer trek. The kids and I went to Glide to hang out with Grandma and Papa Hedrick. The live thirty minutes from town in the beautiful mountains. We enjoyed playing in their pool and going to the river to swim. Bart joined us for the fourth. His Dad is putting on an addition so that they have two bathrooms and a pantry. Ben helped him with concrete and Bart helped with framing. By the time we left it was really looking good. Ben has been working with Bart each day since he has been out of school. They enjoy that and he is learning so much. The girls and I have been hitting the free summer movies and sometimes the free lunches at the school. We look some pictures at the river. Time is going fast and before long it will be time for school again. But we are enjoying being together.
Last month Rebekah turned one! Hard to believe, it went so fast. She is running around and doing everything she sees the others doing. She started to say a few words this past weekend. She does a fake cry that really cracks me up. Maybe I can get a video and post that.

I sure would love to meet your kids. They sound amazing. I'm glad Kate had fun at camp. We sure had some good times when we went back in the day, didn't we? I always tell my girls they have it good. We had to rough it:)
