Oh my where did March go...Well we have been sick with the terrible cold that comes around this time of year. It is the third time the little ones have had it. Maybe we'll be done now.
Bart and Ben went sand railing with the Dennis' for spring break. The girls all were just getting better so we opted to stay home and out of the rain. Bart said later that was a wise choice. It didn't rain the whole time but with the wind it wouldn't have been fun for us to be in a trailer all day.
Kate turned twelve and joined me in Young Women's. She is loving it and has already done five personal progress experiences. Yes I am doing it with her so I have five done too:) She has been getting calls for babysitting and it was weird at first to have my friends call and ask to talk to her! He he but she is a great babysitter so I know why they call. Luckily I have Ben to watch the girls when she is too busy.
All got good reports from school. It is nice to know my kids are respectful to their teachers and good learners. We celebrated by getting books from the book fair. They read most of spring break.
Kisiah is out of diapers! We are so thrilled to be only buying them for one now! All credit goes to her friend Hannah. She came to play and was so good about going on her own and that made that light bulb go off in Kisiah's head. That is all it took. So nice not to be trying to bribe or convince her it is good to wear undies! Oh the power of a friend. Thanks Hannah! Come over anytime!
Rebekah is starting to stand up without crawling up the side of something. She likes it and will sit and then stand and then sit and stand! It is fun to watch the enjoyment she gets from her accomplishments. She will wave hi and goodbye but usually only to Bart. She spends a lot of time watching Kisiah and figuring out how and what she is doing and trying it later on. Today she was blowing raspberries on the plastic ball. That got everyone giggling.
I am tring to do a fundraiser for school and then get a new charter school open. I am learning all about duel credits and ap classes. Also getting into coupon shopping and finally see why Kim got so excited about it. It is fun to see the sales and know I have coupons and can get it for free or under a dollar. I love Walgreens and wish there was one closer to me. They have great deals.
Bart is working close by so it has been nice to have him around while the kids were home too. Ben worked a few times with him and also had his own job helping a lady tie up her bushes that fell over in the last storm. He has most of his scout money earned for camp.
Arika got to miss a week of school and go to her Grandma and Papa Hedrick's house. Her cousin Colby was there and so they played and worked and had a great time. She sent us a post card and it said she loved us and hope we loved her too! Such a sweet girl. It was good to get her back.
School starts again tomorrow and so does softball. Glad to know Maggie is home and we continue to pray for her and everyone else that is sick right now. hopefully the sun will come out again and warm us all. I see the flowers blossoming and know spring has to be out there somewhere!

Glad you guys are feeling better. How fun to have Kate with you in YWs. Wish she was here to babysit for us. Tyson would think that was awesome. Kisiah needs to have a chat with Cassie about diapers. Love reading your blog.
Thanks for the tip about Kate...the next time I call, it may not be for you... :)
It was fun to read the updates on your family. Sounds like you had a fun break!
I understand the colds, we just seem to keep going through them too. Glad you guys are feeling better. Thanks for the update! We miss you guys!
