Happy Birthday Ben!
It is always a whirlwind before Ben's birthday but this year we threw in a trip to the coast to play in the sand for New Year's. We played too long as it was a beautiful day and got home late last night. So this morning before 8am Church we threw him his birthday presents...not even wrapped...to open before we left. I was going to do it after but forgot he was getting a new suit, shirt, tie and shoes so he would need them. Poor kid but he has been to the beach twice for his birthday so he can't complain too much. I can't believe he is 14! He loved riding the quad on the hills and even drove a sand rail around the parking lot. He was all smiles! We are about the same height but as fast as he is growing I know it wont be long before he passes me, as it should be. Just as long as he doesn't think he doesn't have to listen anymore. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
